About Us
Commercial Kitchens Armiya is a growing provider of commercial kitchen equipment installation, preventative maintenance, servicing and repair services across Melbourne and Victoria.
We work with restaurants, cafés, hotels, hospitals, schools, aged care facilities and other commercial food businesses.
We are looking for an experienced Licensed Gas Fitter with hands-on experience in commercial kitchen and catering equipment to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission commercial gas kitchen equipment.
- Service, maintain and repair Type A commercial gas appliances.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
- Test equipment following installation, servicing and repairs.
- Complete service reports and job documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable Victorian regulations, Australian Standards and safety requirements.
- Provide qualified and reliable customer service while attending customer sites.

Essential Requirements
- Current Victorian Gasfitting Licence.
- Current Gas Servicing – Type A Licence.
- Proven experience installing, commissioning,
servicing and repairing commercial gas catering equipment.
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work safely and independently.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Desirable
- Experience working with commercial electrical kitchen equipment.
- Electrical fault-finding experience.
- Relevant electrical qualifications or licence.
- Commercial refrigeration experience or qualifications.
- Type A Appliance Conversion qualification.
- White Card.
- Previous field service experience within the commercial kitchen or catering equipment industry.
