We are looking to recruit a driven lawyer to join our Commercial Law & Property team as part of our strategy to manage and grow this area of the business. The role would suit someone who is eager to learn and develop their skills and knowledge.
Overview
Grace Lawyers Pty Limited is a leading national law firm in the area of strata and community title law which specialises in the areas of insurance law, commercial dispute resolution, debt collection, building & construction, insolvency, corporate and commercial transactions/litigation, planning and property law.
About the Role
Our Commercial and Property team focuses on representing clients in the following matters:
- By-law drafting and registration
- Development of stratum schemes including multi-level management
- Conveyancing and strata plans of subdivision (including redevelopment and sale of common property)
- Property and strata title advice
- Company title advice, drafting of company constitutions and conversion of company title to strata title
- Sale of business agreements and general property or commercial contract/agreement drafting
- Detailed management documentation including management statements, caretaker agreements, building management and letting agreements, development contracts and covenants.
- Leases and licences
- Planning Law
About You
The successful applicant will be resilient, energetic, and extremely organised.
In addition, you will:
- Have minimum 1-year PAE experience
- Can build and maintain strong working relationships with team members and our valued clientele.
- Possess strong academics, drafting skills, time management and attention to detail.
- Be an organised professional, able to diarise significant dates and complete tasks according to deadlines.
- A real passion to practice and develop further in transactional work.
