Babcock is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced aviation professionals interested in current and future Aircrew Officer (ACO) and Rescue Crew Officer (RCO) opportunities across our aviation operations.

About the Roles

Our Aircrew Officers and Rescue Crew Officers play a critical role in supporting Babcock's aviation operations, working alongside pilots and operational teams to deliver secure, effective, and mission-ready outcomes.

Aircrew Officer (ACO) - Essential Requirements

Minimum 500 hours' experience as an Aircrew Officer
Hoist Operator endorsement held for more than 12 months with relevant experience, or equivalent military endorsement
NVIS endorsement and operational experience
Minimum 150 hours' EMS experience
Current HUET with EBS
Current Senior First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation
Current CASA Class 2 Medical Certificate
Certificate IV in Aviation (AVI40116, AVI40119 or AVI40225)
Ability to work within a small, high-performing team
Strong safety focus, professionalism and growth mindset

Rescue Crew Officer (RCO) - Essential Requirements

Current CASA Class 2 Medical Certificate
Current Senior First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation
High level of physical fitness

Experience in rescue, emergency services,



defence, maritime, aviation or other safety-critical environments will be highly regarded.
