About the role

We're seeking a talented Retail Manager to join our team at our Northbridge store location. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations and strategic success of our retail business. You will be responsible for leading our store team, maintaining high standards of customer service, driving sales performance, and ensuring our Northbridge location remains a premier destination for ladies fashion. This role offers the flexibility to be a 4 or 5 day roster, no late nights and rotating Saturdays whilst providing meaningful leadership and business impact.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, motivate and manage store staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance management to foster a high-performing team culture
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, visual merchandising and store presentation to ensure a premium shopping environment
- Drive sales performance and revenue targets through effective selling strategies, customer engagement and promotional campaigns




- Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with regular customers to enhance loyalty and repeat business
- Manage inventory, stock rotation and product displays to maximise sales opportunities and maintain stock accuracy
- Handle cash management, point-of-sale operations and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Implement and maintain health, safety and security standards across the store
- Liaise with head office on store performance, feedback and operational requirements
- Support the achievement of company policies, values and brand standards at all times

What we're looking for

- Proven retail management experience, ideally within fashion retail or a similar customer-focused retail environment
- Solid leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, develop and motivate staff
- Excellent sales acumen and a demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and manage relationships effectively
- Proficiency with retail management systems, point-of-sale software and inventory management tools
- Strong attention to visual merchandising, stock control and store presentation standards




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders
- Sound financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and cash handling responsibly
- A passion for fashion and the ability to engage customers with product knowledge and style advice
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally and constructively
