We’re looking for an exceptional Professional Nanny & Family Assistant to become an integral part of our family.

We are a warm, respectful and professional family with three young children (5 years, 2 years and a newborn). Both parents have demanding professional careers, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys creating a calm, organised household while providing loving, engaging care for our children.

This is a long-term position with guaranteed hours, genuine autonomy and the opportunity to become an important part of our family’s life for years to come.

This role is replacing our wonderful nanny, who is leaving to pursue a nursing career after several happy years with our family.

About the role

You’ll become the person who keeps our family running smoothly. You’ll provide exceptional care for our children while proactively managing the day-to-day organisation of our home, allowing two busy professional parents to focus on work knowing everything else is under control.

Hours

Guaranteed average of approximately 45 hours per week, worked across a flexible 9-day fortnight.

A typical fortnight looks like:

- Monday: 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Wednesday: Adaptable depending on our work commitments.



Some Wednesdays will be a full day, some a half day, and some completely off.
- Thursday: 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am to 6:00pm

Hours average approximately 45 per week across the fortnight, and we’ll provide as much notice as possible regarding Wednesday requirements.

Childcare responsibilities

- Provide warm, attentive and engaging care for our three children.
- Plan age-appropriate activities, outings and adventures.
- School drop-off and pick-up for our eldest (school is a short 400 metre walk from home).
- Prepare healthy meals and lunchboxes.
- Support routines, learning and development.
- Create a calm, happy and well-organised environment.

Family Assistant responsibilities

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day organisation of the household, including:

- Meal planning.
- Weekly Woolworths grocery ordering.
- Keeping household essentials stocked, including pantry items and nappies.
- Family meal preparation.
- Children’s laundry.
- Changing bed linen.
- Packing and unpacking school bags, including books, swimming gear and forms.
- Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas organised.
- Light family administration, including organising birthday presents, RSVPs and occasional errands.
- Proactively identifying what needs attention and helping the household run smoothly.

You’re someone who enjoys creating order,



takes initiative and notices what needs doing without waiting to be asked.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has significant experience as a professional nanny or family assistant.
- Is highly organised, proactive and dependable.
- Loves working with young children.
- Can confidently manage a busy household with minimal direction.
- Has excellent judgement, discretion and initiative.
- Is looking for a long-term role with one family.
- Holds a current Blue Card.
- Holds current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
- Has a current driver’s licence and safe driving record.
- Has excellent references.
