The position involves: Commercial Windows & Doors

- Fabrication of aluminium windows and doors and glass handling / glazing experience
- Experience of fabricating Residential and Commercial Sliding Doors, Stackerred Doors and French Doors.
- Experience of glazing but joined windows.
- Perform daily tasks in line with workshop objectives and following supervisor instructions.
- Responsible for cutting aluminium lengths according to job documentation.
- The safe operation of industrial saws, copy routers, drills, rip saws and other power tools to prepare aluminium profiles and parts.
- Possible handling of large/heavy items including frames, glass with glass lifting machine (including double glazed panels)
- Goods receival (forklift licence preferred but not essential)
- Unpacking deliveries and preparing goods for dispatch
- Continuous training and development
- Assisting on working sites with installation teams

The successful candidate will have a good work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to participate as a team player.

A suitable remuneration package will be negotiated commensurate with experience.

Requirements

- Commercial Aluminium Windows & Doors fabricating experience (Sliding Doors, Stackerred Doors, French Doors) is preferred
- Proficient in the use of power tools and machinery required for window and door production
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
- A proactive attitude and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be able to learn quickly, reliable and work in a structured, secure and tidy manner
- A willingness and commitment to grow with us
- Current Victorian driver’s license (Preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour
