We are seeking an experienced Caregiver / Companionship Carer (Male or Female)

Pay: A$34.00 – A$37.00 per hour

We value empathy, reliability, and professionalism, and we are currently looking for a mature and dedicated caregiver (required age - 40 and above) who is passionate about making a meaningful difference every day.

Role Overview:
This role focuses on supporting the dignity, independence, and well-being of our clients through personalised care, companionship, and practical assistance. The ideal candidate will be confident, reliable, and comfortable accompanying clients on outings and travel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Provide companionship, meaningful conversation, and social engagement
- Prepare and assist with meals according to dietary needs
- Perform light household duties including cleaning, laundry, and organising
- Confidently accompany and transport clients to appointments, social outings, and errands
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or well-being
- Work collaboratively with the My Companionship team to follow care plans





Essential Requirements:

- Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a similar caregiving role
- Own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance and a valid driver’s licence
- Confidence in driving and travelling with clients
- First Aid Certification
- National Police Check
- Full working rights in Australia

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday (morning and afternoon shifts)
- Casual hours, based on client needs
