Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 + Superannuation

Join our dynamic team at XOPP, a premier Cantonese restaurant in Sydney, renowned for blending tradition with innovation in Chinese cuisine. We are seeking a passionate and skilled chef to bring authentic flavors and creative flair to our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high-quality Chinese dishes,
- Understand both traditional and contemporary techniques.
- Innovate and contribute to our seasonal menu while maintaining the essence of classic Chinese cuisine.
- Work with kitchen staff to ensure consistent, exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
- Contribute to achieving daily financial targets.
- Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Vocational Training Certificate in Cookery.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a chef specializing in Chinese cuisine.
- Deep understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese culinary techniques, paired with a passion for culinary innovation.
- A commitment to excellence and quality in every dish served.
- Great knife skills
- Experience with live seafood
- Experience with gas woks
