We are hiring: MALE Mental Health/Disability Support Workers

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals living with lived experience of mental health issues or disabilities? We are looking for dedicated, compassionate, and skilled support workers to join our team.

Position: Mental Health/Disability Support Worker (MALE )

About the Role:

As a Mental Health/Disability Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting individuals to live independently, build life skills, and enhance overall well-being. You will utilize person-centered, strengths-based, and recovery-oriented approaches to support the recovery and wellbeing of those accessing services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities and/or lived experience of mental health issue(s).
- Work with participants, family/ carers, relevant case managers and other professionals to support the participant's individual goals.
- Provide emotional support while promoting mental health and disability wellness.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of participants, adhering to best practice and organisational policies.

Role Criteria:

- Willingness to work with and support vulnerable people.
- Experience in providing support to people with mental health or disability needs is not essential but desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with participants, families, and other professionals.




- Flexibility and ability to adapt to varying support needs.
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $42.00 – $44.00 per hour
