Experienced MESOs Wanted | FIFO & Casual Opportunities

Core Security Group is building a pool of experienced Medical Emergency Services Officers (MESOs) for FIFO, casual and backfill opportunities across mining and resource operations.

You will play a vital role in maintaining site readiness, responding to medical and emergency incidents, conducting equipment inspections, participating in training and exercises, and supporting safe operations in demanding environments.

About you

- Minimum three years’ experience as a MESO, ESO or in a comparable emergency response role
- Mining, remote-site or FIFO experience highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols and procedures
- Calm, skilled and capable under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physically fit and prepared for the operational demands of the role
- Able to work effectively with client representatives, emergency services and site personnel
- Full Australian working rights





Mandatory qualifications and licences

- CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations
- RII30719 Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
- HLT41120 Certificate IV in Health Care, or a recognised equivalent or higher qualification
- HLTPAT005 Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing
- Current BG4 closed-circuit breathing apparatus competency
- Current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certification
- Current HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
- Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence, or the licence class required to operate emergency appliances
- Current National Police Clearance

Additional site-specific qualifications—including firefighting, road crash rescue, vertical rescue, confined-space rescue, hazardous-materials response and emergency vehicle operations—will be highly regarded and may be required for particular projects.

Award paid — not EBA. Roster arrangements and casual backfill opportunities are subject to project requirements.
