Part-Time Social Media Assistant

We are seeking a creative and organised Part-Time Social Media Assistant to join the MARIAM SEDDIQ team. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes fashion, keeps up with digital trends, and understands how to engage and grow a modern audience.

About Us
MARIAM SEDDIQ is a Sydney-based fashion brand known for bold, architectural design and couture craftsmanship. We are celebrating over 10 years in the industry and are looking for the right person to support our digital presence as we continue to grow locally and internationally.

The Role
Working closely with our Creative Director and team, you will help bring the brand’s vision to life across social platforms, ensuring our voice, imagery, and storytelling are consistent and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, schedule, and post content across Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms
- Assist with content planning and calendar management
- Support photoshoots and behind-the-scenes content creation
- Edit short-form videos and reels aligned with current trends
- Engage with our online community through comments, DMs, and story interactions
- Research and suggest creative ideas, trends,



and hashtags relevant to fashion and bridal
- Track engagement and performance, providing basic reports/insights

About You

- Passionate about fashion, design, and culture
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and emerging digital platforms
- Skills in photo and video editing (Canva, Adobe Suite, or mobile apps like CapCut/InShot)
- Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive
- Strong visual eye with understanding of brand aesthetics
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Previous experience in social media, fashion, or creative industries preferred (not essential)

Role Details

- Part time: 2–3 days per week (flexible with some remote work possible)
- Location: Sydney-based (preferred for in-person shoots and studio support)
- Start: Immediate
