Top Health Doctors West End is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Receptionist / 2IC to join our growing team and help lead the day-to-day success of one of Brisbane’s most modern and vibrant medical clinics.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced GP receptionist who enjoys leadership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Working closely with the Practice Manager and clinic leadership team, you will play a key role in supporting reception operations, mentoring team members, driving excellence in customer service, and helping ensure the clinic runs smoothly every day.

The Opportunity
As Senior Medical Receptionist / 2IC, you will be a trusted leader within the clinic, supporting both patients and team members while helping maintain a high-performing front-of-house environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding patient service
- Support, mentor and assist reception team members
- Assist with day-to-day reception operations and workflow management
- Coordinate appointments and support clinical teams
- Manage patient enquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Assist with training, onboarding and continuous improvement initiatives
- Help maintain efficient systems and administrative processes
- Work closely with the Practice Manager to ensure smooth clinic operations
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in General Practice Reception (minimum 5 years)
- Confident using Best Practice software
- A natural leader who enjoys supporting others
- Highly organised and able to prioritise competing demands
- Professional, proactive and solutions-focused
- Passionate about patient care and service excellence
- An excellent communicator with strong attention to detail
- Calm under pressure and capable of managing busy clinic environments
