About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Trades Assistant to support our heavy mobile equipment maintenance team at Sino Iron.
This is a hands-on role working in an HME workshop and mining environment, providing practical support to tradespeople across workshop operations, general labouring, parts movement, housekeeping and equipment preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Providing general labouring and workshop support to tradespeople and maintenance teams
- Assisting with parts movement, tool handling, equipment preparation and general workshop duties
- Supporting safe and efficient HME maintenance activities in a site-based workshop setting
- Operating a forklift as required to support workshop and stores activities
- Maintaining clean, safe and organised workshop areas, laydown areas and work fronts
- Conducting tasks in line with site safety requirements, procedures and supervisor direction
- Reporting hazards,



defects and maintenance-related issues as required

Requirements

- Current HR drivers' licence - essential
- Current High-Risk Work LF licence - essential
- Experience working as a Trades Assistant in an HME workshop or mining environment (preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude and a strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy site workshop environment
- Reliable, proactive and willing to assist across a range of workshop and maintenance support tasks
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and site procedures

Roster and Conditions

- 14 on 14 off permanent day shift roster
- FIFO from Perth
- Camp accommodation and meals provided
- Permanent full-time role
