About the role

Total Quality Employment Solutions (TQES) is a licensed Victorian labour-hire provider supplying qualified care and education staff to aged care, disability and early childhood services across Melbourne.

We're hiring a Business Development Manager to grow our client base across all three sectors. This is a field-based B2B sales role. You'll be the face of TQES to facilities and services — meeting Directors of Nursing, Facility Managers, Service Managers and Centre Directors, understanding where their rosters break, and signing them to service agreements.

What you'll do

- Identify and approach residential aged care facilities, home care and disability providers, and early learning services across Melbourne — in person and by phone
- Build long-term relationships with the people who own the roster: Facility Managers and Directors of Nursing in aged care, Service and House Supervisors in disability, Centre Directors and Nominated Supervisors in early childhood
- Present the TQES staffing model as the answer to unplanned leave, shift coverage and ratio compliance
- Position our workforce accurately — Certificate IV Ageing Support, Certificate III/IV Disability, and Certificate III ECEC staff, screening-cleared and ready to work
- Negotiate and close service agreements, then hand over to our recruitment team




- Keep a clean pipeline and report on activity and conversion

What you'll need
- Experience in sales or business development — aged care, disability, early childhood or recruitment/staffing highly regarded
- A confident, resilient approach to prospecting and closing
- Working understanding of at least one of the Melbourne healthcare, disability or early education markets, and the willingness to learn the other two
- Familiarity with what drives staffing demand in these sectors — 24/7 RN coverage and AN-ACC pressures in aged care, NDIS rostering, educator-to-child ratios and NQF qualification mix in ECEC — is a strong advantage
- A current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle
