OUR VISION The game loved by all South Australians SANFL is seeking a highly organised and community-focused Community Umpire Coordinator to support the delivery of umpiring programs across regional South Australia. This is a unique prospect to play a critical role in growing participation in umpiring, strengthening community football, and supporting the next generation of officials across the state.

About The Role You will coordinate and support regional umpiring programs, with a focus on administration, participation growth, and stakeholder engagement supported by the Community Umpire & Operations Lead.

Key Areas Of Responsibility Include

Managing and supporting the use of OfficialsHQ across community and regional leagues

Driving recruitment and retention initiatives for umpires

Supporting the growth of women and girls in umpiring

Delivering education sessions and assisting umpire development programs

Building strong relationships with leagues, clubs, schools, and volunteers

Supporting safeguarding and compliance requirements, including Working With Children Checks More information about the position is available here About You You are passionate about community sport and bring experience in administration, program delivery, or working within football environments. You thrive on building relationships and supporting volunteers to deliver great experiences. You Will Have Strong organisational and administrative skills

Experience or understanding of community football or umpiring environments The ability to engage and build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders

Confidence delivering presentations, training, or support sessions A commitment to inclusion, particularly in supporting women and girls participation

Current Driver’s Licence

Working With Children Check Work Requirements And Tools The role will require some regional travel with weekend and evening work throughout the football competition periods.
