We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, implant surgery and orthodontics.

- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment. Educate patients on post-operative care practices.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in line with Australian privacy regulations.

- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups.



Ensure the dental practice is stocked with necessary supplies and manage inventory.

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant in a clinical setting

Certifications:

- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification

Skills

- Proficiency in dental procedures, radiography, and infection control practices.

- Excellent Communication interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.

- Robust organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

- Knowledge of Australian Dental Association (ADA) guidelines and standards.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
