About the role

We are seeking a talented Finance Broker to join our full-time team in beautiful Kingscliff! This is a pivotal role within our Broker Team, where you'll play a key part in helping customers secure the right finance solution for their new vehicle purchase (and sometimes other assets). Working closely with our Sales Consultants, you'll collaborate to deliver a seamless customer experience by assessing financial needs, explaining loan options, and guiding customers through the finance process.

This role offers the opportunity to build lasting client relationships while contributing to Motor Scout Australia's mission of transforming the car buying experience across Australia.

Key responsibilities

1. Assess customer financial situations and present tailored finance solutions that meet their specific needs and circumstances
2. Liaise with multiple lenders and financial institutions to source competitive loan products and rates
3.



Prepare comprehensive finance proposals and documentation for customer approval
4. Guide customers through the entire finance application and approval process, ensuring clarity and transparency at each stage
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with both customers and lending partners to support repeat business and referrals
6. Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met throughout the finance broking process
7. Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing queries and concerns promptly and professionally
8. Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions and transactions
9. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination between finance arrangements and vehicle delivery
10. Stay informed of industry developments, lending trends and product updates to provide informed advice to customers

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Finance Broker, loan officer or in a similar client-facing financial services role
2. Strong knowledge of consumer lending products, loan structures and the finance broking process
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in easy terms
4.



Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and financial situations
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with financial services regulations and responsible lending practices
6. Proficiency in using CRM systems and finance management software
7. Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team member
8. Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach

Experience within the broking space is highly preferred or a track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding customer satisfaction benchmarks.
