The Nurse Led Walk-in Clinic provides free, same-day care for adults and children over two years of age with a range of non-life-threatening illnesses and minor injuries. About the role

- Deliver advanced, autonomous nursing care for patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses.
- Apply expert clinical judgement and critical thinking to provide safe, evidence-based, person-centred care.
- Coordinate patient care and provide clinical leadership, mentoring and support to the nursing team.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives through management of the clinic's quality portfolio.
- Work collaboratively with the Nurse Practitioner to assess, treat and manage patients within the Nurse-Led Walk-in Clinic governance framework.

About you

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (mandatory), with experience in emergency, acute care, minor injury/illness clinics, paediatrics or autonomous practice highly regarded.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical assessment,



critical thinking and decision-making skills to deliver safe, evidence-based, person-centred care.
- Solid leadership, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate care, mentor colleagues and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
- Commitment to professional development, clinical excellence and achieving high standards of patient care while effectively managing resources and service outcomes.

What we offer

Total remuneration value of up to $101,654 p.a. is comprised of:

- An hourly rate between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
