About the Role Health and Safety Consultant for our WA Mining H&S; team based at Huntly Mine Site. Permanent, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, residential role.

Responsibilities - Develop risk mitigation plans for high-risk activities including confined space entry, hazardous chemicals, electrical, trenching and excavation.

- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policy and legislation.
- Investigate incidents using the ICAM process, establishing corrective actions with engineering and overall controls.
- Create and deliver training programmes to drive positive safety improvements.
- Lead safety projects and initiatives within the mobile maintenance department.
- Advise and support health & safety committees and representatives in Mobile Maintenance.

Qualifications - Tertiary qualification (desirable) or Diploma in Health and Safety or related subject area.

- Strong health & safety experience, ideally in a maintenance workplace.




- Knowledge and application of legislative standards to ensure compliance with H&S; requirements.
- Strong communication skills, confidence to engage at all levels, leading by example and initiative.
- Contractor experience desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and incident management systems.
