About the Role As a Hydraulic Fitter, you’ll play a key role in rebuilding, repairing and assembling hydraulic components to OEM specifications. Working in a up-to-date workshop environment, you’ll diagnose faults, complete precision hydraulic rebuilds and ensure all components meet the highest standards of quality, safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities - Diagnose, rebuild and repair hydraulic components and systems to OEM standards.

- Assemble hydraulic components using engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Manufacture and repair hydraulic hose assemblies in the workshop and on‑site as required.
- Test, inspect and commission hydraulic components using specialised diagnostic and testing equipment.
- Complete service reports, job documentation and inspection records accurately.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and contamination control.




- Contribute to continuous improvement and support workshop efficiency initiatives.

About You To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Fitting, Mechanical Fitting or a related trade.
- Proven experience rebuilding and repairing hydraulic components and systems.
- Ability to interpret hydraulic schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals.
- Experience using hydraulic diagnostic and testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, team‑focused approach.
- Experience working with OEM hydraulic components, systems or equipment will be highly regarded.
