This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026

Yangebup Primary School (PS) has a very strong sense of community, where relationships between staff, parents and community are based, mutually, on respect, trust, confidence, empathy and co-operation. The school is strengthened by its strong collegial atmosphere where all staff are experienced and competent practitioners who provide education support and pastoral care for students.

Yangebup PS opened in 1982 and is located in the southern suburbs, catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school population consists of students from wide cultural backgrounds, providing rich and diverse opportunities for all. Our school grounds complement the surrounding natural landscape and include vast playing fields and facilities enhanced by native flora.

The Role

Yangebup PS is ideally seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and organised School Officer to join our supportive Leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a people-focused school setting and is keen to make a positive contribution to the effective operation of a growing school.

The successful applicant will ideally have relevant administrative experience and the ability to deliver a broad range of high-quality support services. The School Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth financial operation of the school.



This includes tasks such as undertaking account and GST coding, reconciling financial records and processing invoices. School Officers also assist with month-end procedures such as transporting receipts to the bank and maintaining data integrity.

In addition to supporting financial management processes, the School Officer will assist with the administration and management of school assets. This may include coordinating the out-of-hours use of school facilities, liaising with external users, and arranging maintenance and repair works to ensure school facilities remain safe, functional, and well maintained.

Experience with Compass, Schools Information System (SIS), HRMIS, Reporting to Parents, RM Billing, and RM Finance would be highly regarded.
