About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and capable Duty Manager to join our venue leadership team. This hands‑on role is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives in a busy pub environment, enjoys building strong teams and is committed to delivering an excellent customer experience from open to close. At The Gate, we believe in genuine hospitality and putting the customer first. That means going above and beyond for our patrons, while supporting the team members who deliver that service every day.

Skills and Experience:

- Approved Managers Card / RSA
- Food Safety Hygiene Certificate
- Minimum twoyears 'experience working as a Supervisor or Manager
- A love for selling the products we range
- Solid understanding of bar or bistro service




- Ability to manage a crowd
- Experiencewith stock control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the Industry
- Experience developing the skills of Front of House staff
- Valuable track record of building team culture and leadership skills
- The ability to problem solve and make good decisions in a busy environment
