Heavy Diesel Mechanic – New UG Gold Projects | Elite Camp. FIFO role on underground mining projects in WA with modern Sandvik fleet, elite camp facilities, and long-term career potential. Rate: AU$80–AU$95 per hour plus super; temp-to-perm prospect.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, breakdowns, diagnostics & major component change-outs
- Workshop & field service across UG mobile plant and drill fleet
- Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship & team performance
- Work both autonomously and within a tight-knit crew
What You Bring
- Trade-qualified HD Fitter (LV with UG experience considered)
- Strong mechanical skills with some electrical exposure
- Ability to read schematics & troubleshoot faults
- Reliable, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Highly regarded: UG hard rock experience, drill exposure, dual trade
