Veterinary Nurse – Part-Time or Casual Our client is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join their busy and well-equipped small animal practice on either a part-time or casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinary nurse with at least two years of clinical experience who is looking for long-term employment within a supportive, professional team committed to delivering exceptional patient care and client service. About the Practice Our client is a modern, fully equipped small animal hospital located in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.

The practice is committed to providing a high standard of veterinary care and is equipped with digital radiography, in-house laboratory facilities, dental equipment, ultrasound and orthopaedic surgical capabilities. The team prides itself on delivering excellent customer service while fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace culture.

The Role The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of veterinary nursing, including:

- Surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring
- Patient care and handling
- Reception and client service
- Assisting veterinarians with medical and surgical procedures
- Housekeeping and maintaining clinical standards
- Supporting and mentoring trainee veterinary nurses About You The ideal candidate will possess:




- A minimum of two years' veterinary nursing experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A friendly, compassionate and professional approach to client care
- Robust organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and continue developing professionally
