Your opportunity:
To utilise advanced clinical expertise in Physiotherapy related to the management of General Medicine inpatients in order to deliver specialised clinical and consultancy services to facilitate patient flow as part of a multidisciplinary 7- day service.
In collaboration with Medical and Nursing colleagues, at a ward and service level, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical pathways that address complex patient needs across the continuum.
Provide authoritative counsel, relating to clinical area of expertise, to stakeholders and consumers to achieve excellence in patient care, service delivery models, education and research for General Medicine inpatient services.

Time (76 hours p.f.) and Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable) Qualifications and other requirements:
Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as a Physiotherapist and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association.
Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
The position requires significant post graduate experience and expertise in a high-risk inpatient environment and relevant professional development, or post graduate qualifications.
It is highly desirable to possess a post graduate qualification relevant to inpatient general medical clinical practice or service management.
There may be a requirement for this position to work a 7-day roster/weekends to deliver support to inpatients and assist with hospital discharge or transfer of care.

Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $172,615 p.a., comprising salary between $144,991 - $151,289 p.a. (f/t)
and comprising salary rates between $73.13 - $76.30 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f., and Permanent Part Time Positions, hours negotiable) (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
