Field Service Technician - Agricultural Diesel Mechanic

Position: Full‑time permanent role based in Altona, Melbourne, Australia. Hourly rate is $45–$50. Overtime is available. Company vehicle, laptop and mobile are provided.

What you will do

- You’ll play a vital role in maintaining the top performance of GRIMME equipment.
- Provide repair and service support in workshop and field.
- Engage customers, deliver machine product demonstrations, start‑ups and special projects.
- Support customers in troubleshooting and diagnostics, ensuring operational continuity.

About you

- Experienced in field and workshop repair of agricultural machinery, ideally harvesting machinery.
- Robust ability to interpret hydraulic/electric schematics and diagnostics.
- Commitment to health, safety and wellbeing.




- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for extended periods.
- Current driver’s licence required; forklift licence preferable.
