Annandale Christian College is seeking a passionate and committed Primary Teacher to join our team in a full-time, fixed term capacity in 2027.
As an independent, co-educational and non-denominational Christian school offering Kindergarten to Year 12, we partner with families to provide quality, Christ-centred education that enables every student to flourish academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally.
About the Role The Primary Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs that engage, challenge and support students to achieve their God-given potential. The successful applicant will create safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environments while actively contributing to the Christian life of the College.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective curriculum aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
- Integrate a biblical worldview into teaching and learning.
- Differentiate teaching to meet diverse student needs.
- Foster positive student wellbeing, behaviour and engagement.
- Assess, monitor and report on student achievement and progress.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the College.
- Uphold child safety, professional standards and College policies.
About You
You will
- Have an active Christian faith, be connected in a local church (pastoral reference required) and have a desire to contribute to the mission and values of ACC.
- Be passionate about Christian education and student growth.
- Be an enthusiastic and reflective classroom practitioner.
- Be a strong communicator who builds positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
- Be committed to professional growth and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
registration or be able to obtain.
- Current QLD Working with Children Blue Card (Paid or Exemption) or be able to obtain.
- Ability to actively support the College's Christian ethos and Statement of Christian Beliefs.
