We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a well-established Christian school located in Sydney's Western Suburbs.

This is a permanent full-time position, with an immediate start preferred. The school is also open to a Term 4 2026 or 2027 commencement for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach General Science across Years 7-10
- Deliver Physics or Chemistry for Years 11-12
- Develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning programs
- Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and high academic expectations
- Integrate ICT effectively into teaching and learning
- Provide strong pastoral care and support student wellbeing

General Responsibilities:

- Contribute positively to a faith-based school setting
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and student wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community
- Act as a positive role model in faith, conduct, and professionalism

You Will Need:

- Experience teaching Science, with the ability to deliver senior Physics or Chemistry
- NESA accreditation (essential)
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)




- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High-level ICT skills (MS Office and Google Workspace)
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity
- Passion for student learning and development
