You'll be identifying targets, creating the commercial case, and winning deals that didn't exist before you made the call. Expanding into health insurance, personal lending, and financial services The Role

You'll originate, pitch, and close new distribution partnerships with organisations that have large customer bases. Every deal starts cold. You'll create the commercial logic for each partner from scratch, own the relationship through activation, and drive real revenue — not just signatures. Think:

Banks and fintechs

Loyalty and rewards programs

Real estate and mortgage ecosystems

Marketplaces and membership platforms ? What You'll Be Doing

Originate pipeline from scratch — cold outreach, cold calling, cold everything

Build tailored commercial propositions for each target — no templates, no generic decks

Engage CEO, founder, Head of Partnerships, and commercial leaders at organisations that have never heard of you





Negotiate and close revenue-share deals with senior stakeholders

Own partners through their first 12 months of activation to ensure they transact

Work cross-functionally with product, account management, and leadership to deliver outcomes ✅ Must Have

Proven deal originator — you've opened doors cold and closed them on commercial logic alone

Track record of winning net-new logos without brand recognition doing the heavy lifting

Strong commercial acumen — you can structure a revenue-share deal, defend the economics, and hold your ground when pushed

3–7 years in B2B enterprise BD or partnerships — with genuine hunting as your core motion

Startup or scale-up experience — you know how to build without a full support structure behind you

Comfortable engaging and influencing C-suite stakeholders from a cold start ➕ Nice to Have

Sold for a challenger or unknown brand into enterprise accounts

Background in fintech, payments, embedded finance, loyalty, or comparison/aggregator platforms

Experience with white-label or embedded product solutions

Has built a BD function or commercial motion from early stage ? Not a Fit

You manage and grow existing partnerships rather than hunt new ones

Relies on inbound, referrals, or warm introductions as your primary source of deals
