About Our Client

Our client is a leading engineering and project delivery business driving Australia's renewable energy and grid infrastructure transition, with a strong pipeline of BESS, Solar, Wind and HV projects.

- Perform and review power system studies for renewable energy, BESS and grid connection projects.

- Develop and validate network and plant models using PowerFactory, PSCAD and PSS®E.
- Support end-to-end grid connection activities, including GPS development and AEMO submissions.
- Assess plant compliance with NEM requirements and performance standards.
- Collaborate with clients, OEMs, consultants and network operators to resolve technical issues.
- Review models, studies and control settings to optimise system performance.
- Support commissioning, testing and model validation activities.
- Prepare technical reports, compliance documentation and project deliverables.

The Successful





Applicant A successful Senior Power Systems & Grid Connection Engineer will have:

- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in power system studies and grid connection projects within the Australian energy market.
- Robust proficiency with PowerFactory, PSCAD and/or PSS®E.
- Solid understanding of AEMO requirements, GPS processes and NEM regulations.
- Experience delivering load flow, fault level, dynamic stability and grid compliance studies.
- Knowledge of renewable energy, BESS and inverter-based resource technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage clients, OEMs and network operators.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and technical reporting capabilities. What's on Offer - Competitive base salary.
