Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive outstanding commercial outcomes. This hands‑on leadership role involves coaching high‑performing sales professionals, strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the team consistently delivers exceptional customer experiences.

Reporting to the General Manager Leasing Services, you will:

- Lead, coach and mentor a team of Business Development Managers and Fleet Sales Consultants
- Drive new business growth across Fleetcare's range of solutions, including Novated Leasing, Fleet Management and Telematics/GPS
- Develop and execute sales strategies that support national business objectives
- Analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasting and reporting to ensure team targets are achieved
- Support tender opportunities and major sales initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects and industry stakeholders
- Oversee the successful onboarding and implementation of new clients
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, systems and customer outcomes
- Foster a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, customer service and continuous improvement

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Proven experience in a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or similar leadership role
- Experience leading and developing high‑performing sales teams




- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of achieving sales results
- Exceptional relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence presenting to senior decision‑makers and managing complex sales opportunities
- Strong analytical, reporting and CRM management capabilities
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- A current driver’s licence

Whilst not essential, the following will also be highly regarded:

- Experience within fleet management, novated leasing, automotive, finance or related industries
- Understanding of vehicle leasing and finance products
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or a related discipline
