The Role

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and creative Lifestyle Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role focuses on enhancing the wellbeing of older Australians through meaningful activities, social engagement, and genuine connection.

Responsibilities

- Support the planning and delivery of engaging recreational and social programs
- Build positive, supportive relationships with residents
- Help create a vibrant, inclusive, and enjoyable setting
- Contribute to resident wellbeing through companionship, conversation, and participation in activities
- Be the friendly face that brings joy and enrichment to residents’ lives

Qualifications & Skills

- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (highly desirable)
- Current First Aid Certificate (with CPR)
- Ability to build strong, positive relationships




- Confidence engaging residents in daily programs and activities
- Genuine passion for supporting and enriching the lives of older people
- Great communication and teamwork skills, with basic computer literacy
- Prior to commencement – complete a National Police Check and/or an NDIS Workers Check

Location

Darlington community, located on the Tweed Coast, Queensland. The role involves working within a high-quality aged care environment.
