Description: About The Role As Team Leader, you'll provide operational leadership to the Infants, Children and Young People team, supporting the development and delivery of regional planning and service initiatives. This role will provide leadership of the national flag ship program of Headspace across the region. You'll lead and mentor a team, foster a positive and high-performing culture, and support professional development and capability building.

You'll also play a key role in leading regional partnership groups and working collaboratively across government, health, community and lived experience stakeholders. Your work will help identify emerging needs, strengthen service delivery, support mental health reform and ensure initiatives are informed by evidence, data and the voices of children, young people, families and communities.

Skills and Experiences: About You We're looking for an experienced people leader with a strong background in mental health who can bring together people, ideas and organisations to achieve better outcomes. You'll bring: Tertiary qualifications in a health-related field and significant mental health experience

Demonstrated experience leading, developing and supporting high-performing teams through change

Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills across government, health, community and lived experience networks

Experience in program development, implementation, evaluation and reporting

Strong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes

Experience using data and evidence to identify needs,



evaluate programs and drive continuous improvement

Knowledge of mental health policy and service delivery, particularly in relation to infants, children and young people

Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills

Experience working with diverse communities and a strong understanding of health equity and culturally responsive practice will be highly regarded.
