About the opportunity

At Mercy Health each moment, no matter how small, truly matters. As a Home Care Worker, you will support our Home Care clients to live independently at home by providing domestic assistance with cleaning and laundry duties.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and light meal preparation.
- Monitor and document clients’ health and well‑being, reporting any concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Respect clients’ privacy and dignity while maintaining a safe and comfortable workplace.
- Follow all organisational policies, including NDIS procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

- Certificate III/IV in Home or Aged Care.
- A valid CPR certificate.
- A valid first aid certificate.
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence.
- NDIS clearance.
- NDIS Orientation Module completion.

What you’ll bring

- Passion about helping people in your community, with strong relationship‑building,



time management and budget management skills.
- Previous case‑management experience as well as relevant qualifications.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A safe, sensible approach with a practical understanding of people’s physical limitations.
- The ability to be flexible and adapt to meet clients’ individual needs.
