About the Opportunity

Join our Training and Change team at the Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA). We are seeking two Principal Trainers, with 12‑month and 24‑month Temporary Full‑Time opportunities available. You’ll design and deliver creative digital health training that equips NSW Health staff to confidently adopt new technologies and supports the successful rollout of one of Australia’s largest digital transformation programs.

Play a key role in delivering the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) Program, helping transform healthcare across NSW by developing and delivering training for Epic digital health applications. You’ll work with eLearning platforms, virtual and face‑to‑face training environments, vendor‑developed learning content,



instructional design methodologies and statewide stakeholders to support successful system implementation and long‑term user adoption.

In this role, you will:

- Lead the design, development and delivery of digital health training programs that meet the diverse needs of NSW Health staff across metropolitan, regional, rural and remote settings.
- Develop flexible training approaches and innovative, reusable learning resources—including face‑to‑face, online and blended materials—to support the rollout of new and existing digital health applications.
- Evaluate training effectiveness, analyse feedback and continuously improve learning programs using adult learning best practice.
- Integrate vendor training content, eLearning modules and instructional design processes to ensure effective program delivery, aligned with standards, guidelines and organisational requirements.
- Support local trainers and team members by providing credentialing, coaching and expert guidance to enable high‑quality, consistent training across LHDs and SHNs statewide.

About You

- Extensive experience in adult learning and development within large, complex service organisations, including strong technical training capability in large‑scale ICT project environments.
- Proven ability to lead the scoping, design, development, delivery and evaluation of software training programs across all stages of implementation.
- Strong background in digital health system training within major healthcare settings, with the flexibility to work evenings, nights or weekends as required.

- To be eligible for this role you must have current Australian work rights (Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen with a current passport, or hold a valid visa with permission to work in Australia).
- Successful candidates may be required to complete multiple virtual Epic training sessions and Epic orientation, all scheduled in U.S. time.
- For this role ’Exempt’ refers to a fixed term contract of more than 13 weeks.
