About the Role

We are growinig, looking for an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our workshop and field service team at our Ormeau base. It's a mix of workshop and mobile work — you'll get a fully-equipped service vehicle for on-site jobs and workshop facilities for bigger repairs.

- Service, maintain and repair a mixed heavy plant fleet

- Diagnose and fault-find across multiple brands

- Carry out major and minor repairs to OEM spec

- Mobile servicing with company vehicle supplied

- Accurate tablet-based reporting and checklists for services and repairs

Skills and Experience

- Cert III in Heavy Diesel Fitting or equivalent

- Proven experience on heavy plant and equipment





- Confident using diagnostic tools across multiple brands

- HR licence preferred; open driver's licence essential

- Strong safety awareness and pride in quality work

Our fleet includes excavators, dozers, compactors, moxys, graders and trucks across brands like CAT, Sumitomo, John Deere, Yanmar, Kubota, Bomag, Iveco and Isuzu — if you've worked across a few of these, you'll feel right at home.

What's In It For You

- $50–$55/hr + penalty rates paid on all overtime

- 9.5hr days / 47.5hr average week — strong weekly earnings
