As a Senior Financial Accountant at Zurich you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Reporting team and enabling high-quality financial outcomes across the business. You’ll work closely with a range of stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting, strengthen governance, and contribute to projects that support Zurich’s ongoing transformation. This role is an opportunity to shape how financial information is delivered and used, while contributing to improvements in processes, systems, and reporting.

Responsibilities

- Deliver accurate and timely month‑end reporting, including journals, reconciliations, and financial checks
- Contribute to internal and external reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Support finance projects, including system enhancements and initiatives that improve reporting capabilities
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across finance and the wider business to support effective service delivery
- Assist with audit processes and respond to auditor queries in a timely and professional manner
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen financial controls across the business

Qualifications

- Completed CA/CPA qualification or equivalent
- Experience in financial accounting or reporting, ideally within financial services
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
- Experience with SAP or similar general ledger systems
- Sound analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial information clearly
- Understanding of financial controls, governance, and regulatory requirements
