We’re looking for a garment technician to join our product development team as a key part of the company. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about fits, loves working in a team, and strives to get our product looking valuable on women of all body sizes.

Key Responsibilities

Fit & Technical Support

- Attend daily fit sessions, taking clear and accurate fit notes
- Assist Garment Techs with identifying the best technical and construction solutions to improve product fit and quality
- Measure and review all incoming samples, ensuring they match approved specs, grading rules, and workmanship
- Review production samples and confirm all measurements and fit changes are correct

Sample & Critical Path Management

- Oversee and maintain the critical path timeline , ensuring all key milestones and deadlines are tracked and followed
- Create and manage efficient systems for organising sample stages , ensuring samples are easy to find.
- Maintain a well‑organised, tidy sample room that supports workflow efficiency
- Communicate fit notes, updates, and technical clarifications to suppliers via email and WeChat
- Provide daily updates to factories regarding sampling status, fit changes, measurements, and deadlines
- Clearly communicate reasons for bulk rejections ,



supported by photos, videos, and detailed measurement notes
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal team members

Cross-Functional Support

- Work closely with designers, production, and buying teams, offering technical insight, grading feedback, and fit expertise
- Ensure all product decisions reflect the Peppermayo customer and their diverse body shapes
- Assist with e-commerce product descriptions when needed

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Garment Technician or Assistant Garment Technician
- Strong eye for detail — able to spot measurement discrepancies, construction issues, and quality concerns instantly
- Highly organised mindset — enjoys structure, systems, and maintaining an efficient sample workflow
- Solid understanding of garment construction and fit
- Confident measuring samples and reviewing workmanship
- Knowledge of grading rules and how they vary across different styles and fabrics
- Able to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficient in Excel, Google Drive, email, and WeChat
- A collaborative, solutions-focused team player with clear communication
