We’re a small, high-performing team with big clients who do amazing work in the community — and we’re looking for a commercially-minded manager to help us scale.

The Role

The Commercial Director is a newly created senior role reporting to the CEO. You’ll lead three core functions of the business: Growth, Delivery, and Operations.

You’ll work closely with the executive team on strategy and priorities, act as the integrator across teams, and hold genuine accountability for both revenue outcomes and operational performance. You will translate that strategy into clear, actionable priorities for the team to deliver on.

What you’ll oversee

Growth

Our Revenue and Marketing teams are in good hands — you'll provide direction, identify and develop new and existing strategic partnerships, remove blockers, analyse and report on initiatives and ensure the commercial side of the business is achieving revenue targets and moving toward shared goals. You'll also take ownership of tender applications, pulling together the right people across the business to put our best foot forward on major opportunities.

Delivery

An experienced client success team manages our relationships and campaign delivery day-to-day. Your role is to stay across performance, support escalations, and ensure the team has what it needs to do their best work.

Operations

A capable platform operations lead keeps our support, onboarding, and continuous improvement functions running. You'll provide oversight, help prioritise competing demands, and act as the connective tissue between this team and the rest of the business.

Your broader responsibilities

Strategic contribution





Translating company strategy into clear quarterly priorities, identifying opportunities and risks within the business, and supporting the executive team in shaping organisational direction.

People & culture

Supporting team culture and internal communications, acting as an escalation point, and helping leaders across the business grow in their roles.

Governance & compliance

Maintaining contracts and partner agreements, coordinating with external legal counsel, and owning internal policy documentation.

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience in a commercial, operations, or general management role — ideally in a SaaS or tech-enabled services environment
- A track record of driving revenue growth and managing sales teams, with the ability to coach and hold commercial accountability
- Experience coordinating or project managing tender and proposal submissions, ideally across multiple stakeholders
- Solid operational instincts — comfortable resolving ambiguity, juggling competing priorities, and keeping multiple teams moving
- Excellent communicator and natural relationship builder, with the credibility to influence at all levels
- Comfortable in a lean, quick-moving team where you’ll wear multiple hats and won’t have a large support structure beneath you
- Experience in the fundraising or nonprofit space is a massive plus.
- An early adopter mindset when it comes to AI — you experiment with tools that make you more effective, and you bring that thinking to the teams around you
