Job Description

We are seeking permanent full-time, part-time and casual Registered Nurses [RN] and Enrolled Nurses (IV endorsed) [EN], for a dynamic and collaborative team on Hill Ward. Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is a part of the Newcastle Network's Ramsay Health Care hospital division. Hill Ward is a 32-bed Medical / Surgical ward, supporting Lake Macquarie Private's 10 Operating Theatre department, Emergency Department and medical-inpatient casemix. To be successful for this role, flexibility of rostering across all shifts (Morning, afternoon, twilight and night shifts) is highly desirable.

As a member of our clinical team you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager,



Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients.

About You

You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

Current registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurses)Medication endorsed (IV qualified)Minimum 12 months acute care or surgical ward experienceStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesFlexibility to support a 24hr staffed ward Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $36.19 - $56.52 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)
