Manager Business to Business Services (CDS)

FULL-TIME

LOCATION: Launceston

City Mission is looking for a motivated Manager Business to Business Services who can build strong and maintain organisational partnerships that support recycling, sustainability, and community impact.

With the launch of the Recycle Rewards scheme at City Mission, supported by new automated depots in Launceston and Somerset that can process up to 12,000 containers per hour. The scheme is designed to boost recycling rates and cut litter by as much as half throughout Tasmania by offering a 10c refund for returning eligible drink containers to designated refund points. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about sustainability and committed to making a meaningful difference in their local environment and community.

Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Manager – Business-to-Business Services is responsible for developing commercial relationships and securing ongoing collection agreements from organisations to achieve desired sustainability, community and budgetary targets. Along with the fulfilment of the day to day collections and dropping off of bins for containers to customers.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

- Experience in Business Development, logistics and/or recycling.

- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to follow policies, solve problems, and improve processes.

- Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards.

- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).





- Ability to adapt to change and implement improvements.

- A current drivers licence with a valuable driving record.

- Experience with heavy vehicle and/or towing would be beneficial.

- National Police Check is required for all roles at LCM.

- Registration to Work with Vulnerable People is required for all roles at LCM.

- Experience or demonstrated capacity to work in an organisation adopting a Christian ethos.

- Positive, adaptable, and solution-focused attitude.

- Physically able to perform manual tasks and stand for long periods.
