About the Role

Reporting to the Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe operation of company trucks and assisting with the successful delivery of civil construction projects.

This is a hands-on role that involves transporting plant, materials and equipment between project sites while also assisting site crews with general labouring duties when required. Safety, reliability and teamwork are key to this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate HR or HC trucks in accordance with road rules and company procedures.

- Transport materials, equipment and plant to and from project sites.





- Complete daily vehicle pre-start inspections and report maintenance requirements.

- Secure loads in accordance with legislative and company requirements.

- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and vehicle records.

- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.

- Support site crews with labouring and general construction activities when required.

- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and vehicle presentation.

- Comply with all company Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems.

- Work effectively with supervisors, plant operators and site personnel to ensure projects run efficiently.

About You

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Previous experience operating HR or HC trucks.

- Tipper, Tilt Tray and Water Cart experience.

- Experience within the civil construction industry (preferred).

- Strong commitment to workplace safety.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

- Good time management and organisational skills.

- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Willingness to assist with general site duties when required.





Essential Requirements

- Current HR or HC Driver Licence.

- Construction White Card.

- Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles.

- Ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug & alcohol testing.

- Willingness to work on regional and remote projects when required.

Desirable

- Civil construction experience.

- Machinery tickets (Loader, Excavator, Roller, Skid Steer or similar).

- Dogman, Rigging or Forklift Licence.

- First Aid Certificate.
