Build and Lead the Plexxcon Remedial Business

Plexxcon is seeking an experienced and commercially driven person to take on our Remedial Works Manager position to take ownership of our growing remedial construction division in SE Qld, and be part of our expansion to NSW and Vic.

This is not simply a project management role. It is an opportunity for a motivated industry professional to lead and grow a business unit within an established commercial construction company—with the systems, resources, reputation and financial backing of Plexxcon behind them.

We are looking for a genuine go-getter: someone who can build strong client relationships, identify opportunities, win work and then lead its successful delivery. You will be given the autonomy to treat the division as your own business and will be rewarded for its growth and financial performance.

The Opportunity

As Remedial Division Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for Plexxcon Remedial. You will develop and grow the division’s existing client base, secure new work, manage delivery and oversee its overall financial performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Actively developing new remedial work opportunities across the industrial, commercial, multistorey, strata, body corporate and facilities sectors

- Building relationships with building managers, body corporate managers, consultants, engineers, asset managers and commercial property owners

- Networking within the industry and developing current referral and client channels

- Inspecting potential projects, developing scopes and identifying practical remedial solutions

- Pricing, estimating and tendering remedial works, with support available from the Plexxcon estimating team

- Helping develop simple schedules of rates and repeatable pricing systems as you grow to bring on a dedicated estiamtor

- Coordinating project start-up, programming, access, procurement and site resources

- Planning labour requirements and managing our existing dedicated remedial delivery team, and bring on new team members as required

- Developing strong supplier,



subcontractor and specialist consultant relationships

- Ensuring projects meet Plexxcon’s standards for quality, safety and client expecations

- Monitoring progress, costs, variations, productivity and profitability

- Ensuring completed works and monthly progress claims are invoiced promptly

- Maintaining strong client relationships and generating repeat business

- Taking full ownership of the division’s budget, revenue, margin and growth targets

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience in waterproofing, concrete repair, façade remediation, building defects, roof and balcony repairs, coatings, leak investigation or other remedial construction works.

Experience working on multistorey residential, commercial, strata or occupied buildings will be highly regarded.

You may currently be working as a Remedial Project Manager, Construction Manager, Operations Manager, Senior Estimator, Waterproofing Manager or in a similar role and are ready to take the next step into genuine business leadership. - Experienced in coordinating labour, subcontractors, suppliers and project programs

- Focused on quality, safety, presentation and client satisfaction

- Financially disciplined and capable of managing budgets, margins and cash flow

- Practical, solutions-focused and willing to be involved from initial enquiry through to completion

- A strong communicator who can build trust with clients, consultants and site teams

- Ambitious and excited by the opportunity to build a division and share in its success





Existing industry relationships will be valuable, but attitude, drive and the ability to create opportunities are equally important.
