The Position

The role represents an exciting opportunity to be or become a Manager of your set of clients and team. It would be suitable for someone who is either wanting to step up from supervisor/assistant manager into a manager role.

Our leadership team will help you to onboard current clients, develop your team and mentor you to lead a high-performance team.

We are searching for someone who is looking for a long-term future with a progressive and culture-driven firm.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary package that reflects their skills and experiences.

About The Role:

- Review work performed by staff members in your team - specifically strategy

- Preparation of business advisory reports including cashflow projections

- Mentoring and training accountants in your team





- Managing your team's workflow

- Meet With New and Existing Clients

- Initial New Client Meetings

- Strategic client meetings

- Business advisory

- Strategic tax planning and structuring advice

- Tax & Compliance

Skills and experience

- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a public practice firm

- Experience with working and communicating with clients

- Ability to prepare financial statements, tax returns & BAS end-to-end at a high level

- Moderate to High level of technical knowledge and be able to communicate this simply with clients (Div7a, GST, Tax)

- Ability to train junior staff members and perform reviews on all work including tax returns, BAS, tax planning and advisory reports

- Moderate to High level of Business Advisory, Advice and Tax Planning - eg Structuring, Tax Planning, CGT etc

- Experience using Xero and QuickBooks
