Job Description

Must Have Skills
Minimum 5 years industry experience in software design, development, and implementations (SDLC) as a full‑stack or back‑end developer.
Experience in Automations (SDN, Telemetry, SNMP – collection, analysis, reporting, anomaly detection).
Python programming expertise.
Debugging and developing legacy code.
Adding features to existing Perl modules.
Building custom monitoring or alerting scripts for network events.
Integrating open‑source plug‑ins / RFCs and APIs.
Networking and security fundamentals: TCP/IP, firewalls (iptables/nftables), subnetting, routing, NAT, VLANs, virtual IP.
Network monitoring & troubleshooting; understanding of failover strategies and redundancy.
SSH, Bash scripting.
Solid understanding of database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
Understanding of Galera Cluster concepts, synchronous replication,



replication lag monitoring, failover, and recovery procedures.

Nice to Have Skills
Build and manage GitLab CI/CD pipeline.
Experience with Docker / microservices design, development, and deployment.
Monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios.
Setting up DNS services.
Experience working in telco/ISP settings.
Knowledge of security best practices, vulnerability scanning, SSL/TLS, OAuth.
Exposure to prompt engineering/workflow AI/ML models and tools such as n8n, Google Opal.
