Head of Business Development & Client Relations

Our client is a leading national design and construction business delivering high-end commercial and architectural projects across Australia.

They are seeking an experienced Head of Sales & Business Development to lead the sales and client engagement function on a 12-month contract, with a genuine prospect to transition into a permanent role for the right person.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing the team, strengthening client relationships, driving pipeline growth and converting opportunities into design and construction engagements.

The Role:
Leading and developing the Client Relations and Business Development team
Building relationships with workplace clients, architects, designers, project managers and consultants
Managing the sales pipeline, forecasting and CRM accuracy
Driving lead generation, client meetings and project presentations
Working closely with Pre-Construction to improve opportunity conversion
Supporting tender submissions, design engagements and client onboarding
Developing sales collateral, presentations, events and business development campaigns

About You:
Robust leadership and coaching capability




Experience within commercial construction, architecture, design, property or a related sector
A solid network across commercial builders, architects, designers and project consultants
Demonstrated experience managing national sales teams, targets and pipelines
Demonstrated success managing and winning large, complex project sales/ building envelope packages
Solid presentation, negotiation and relationship-building capability
Confidence working with senior clients and internal leadership teams
A structured and commercially focused approach to CRM, forecasting and reporting
