We are seeking an experienced and reliable Agricultural Diesel Mechanic to join our team on a busy horticultural farm. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a modern fleet of agricultural machinery and play a key role in keeping our farming operations running efficiently.

About the Role

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment to minimise downtime and support daily farm operations.

Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair tractors, harvesters, and other agricultural machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine faults.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns during peak production periods.
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
Ensure machinery is operating safely and complies with workplace health and safety requirements.
Order and manage spare parts and workshop consumables as required.
Liaise with external servicing companies, as required.




Work collaboratively with farm management and production teams.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or Agricultural Mechanic.
Experience working on agricultural machinery (preferred).
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Current driver's licence (HR licence and forklift licence are advantageous).
