Ready to get off the tools and become a trainer?
PMV Training is looking for experienced tradespeople who are ready to take the next step in their career and move into training.
This role is ideal for someone with strong industry experience in electrical, high voltage, instrumentation, hazardous areas, renewables, or related technical fields who enjoys helping others learn.
You do not need to be an experienced trainer from day one.
If you have the right trade background, attitude and communication skills, we can support you through the training and assessment pathway.
About PMV Training
PMV Training is a specialist technical training provider delivering practical, industry-focused training across electrical, high voltage, hazardous areas, renewable energy, instrumentation and safety-related programs.
We work with industry clients, apprentices, tradespeople and technical workers who need real-world training delivered by people who understand the job.
About the role
You will support the delivery of technical training programs to students and industry clients.
Depending on your background, this may include:
High voltage switching
Electrical safety
Renewable energy and battery systems
Hazardous areas
Instrumentation and control systems
Trade-related practical training
Workplace and client-based training
You will work with experienced trainers while you learn PMV's systems, course materials and delivery approach.
What we are looking for
We are interested in people who have:
Trade or technical experience in electrical, HV, instrumentation, renewables, hazardous areas, construction or related industries
Strong practical knowledge and a safety-focused mindset
Good communication skills
Patience and confidence working with learners
A skilled attitude with clients and students
Willingness to complete or already hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Current industry licences, tickets or qualifications relevant to your trade area
You may suit this role if you are:
A tradie wanting to move off the tools
A supervisor or leading hand who enjoys mentoring apprentices
An experienced technician looking for a more stable role
A semi-retired tradesperson wanting to pass on your knowledge
A trainer already working in VET or industry training
