About Role:
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for motivated and enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist to grow your career and provide the best quality care for our patients.
You will be providing clinical support as part of the Occupational Therapy team at the Joondalup Health Campus Mental Health Unit.
The MHU has undergone major redevelopment and has a new facility with a capacity of 102 beds, including adult, youth and older adult units.
This is a permanent Full-time role (job share arrangements will be considered) Casual positions are also available.
Applicants for the P2 Senior Occupational Therapist role must have aminimum of two years' clinical experience in an acute mental health settingto be considered.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will meet the following selection criteria:
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent with AHPRA registration
Evidence of ability to identify clinically appropriate interventions and implement evidence-based practice into service development
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, service providers, external agencies, patients, families and caregivers
Demonstrated ability to apply clinical reasoning, sound judgement and complex decision making
Well-developed skills in preparing written reports and NDIS applications
Desirable
Experience in group facilitation especially psychoeducation groups
Completion or progress towards a relevant postgraduate qualification
