This is an excellent opportunity to join our clients' team in a senior litigation capacity, working with approachable leadership while having the autonomy to manage files, build client rapport and contribute to high-quality legal outcomes.
About the Position:
Our client is looking for a confident and capable Senior Litigation Lawyer who is ready to get on the tools, manage matters with minimal supervision and provide clear, commercially focused advice to clients.
The successful candidate will work across a broad mix of litigation and dispute resolution matters, including commercial disputes, contract disputes, debt recovery,



property-related disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, insolvency-related matters and general civil litigation.
You will be involved from the early advice stage through to strategy, pleadings, evidence, negotiation, mediation and court events.
This role will suit a lawyer who enjoys being hands-on, building trust with clients and driving matters forward with confidence.
This is not a role where you will be hidden behind a desk.
Our client is looking for someone who can speak with clients directly, understand commercial objectives, manage competing priorities and bring a practical approach to dispute resolution.
Key Requirements:
Ideally 5+ years PAE in litigation, dispute resolution or commercial disputes
Strong experience managing litigation files autonomously
Ability to draft pleadings, affidavits, submissions, correspondence and court documents
Confidence attending mediations, directions hearings and court events
Strong client rapport and the ability to provide clear, practical advice
Experience briefing counsel, liaising with experts and managing litigation strategy
Commercially minded approach to resolving disputes efficiently
Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
Admission as an Australian legal practitioner
